Resources
These are some of my recommended resources for learning. Plenty of what I know I owe to people on the internet. I want to share who I learn from so you can as well!
Computers
- Luke Smith
Very interesting content on GNU/Linux, open source, and minimalist software. Luke doesn't come from a background in computers in any way, which makes it even more interesting how he became the ricing gigachad he is.
This man convinced me to daily drive a ThinkPad X230 and X240, run Arch Linux on it, and learn neovim. He is also one of the reasons why this website exists.
Sadly, he hasn't been posting for a while. I hope he'll eventually come back!
Coding
- Tsoding
- Code Vault
- ThePrimeagen
Great coding YouTube channel. Lots of graphical programming in C—not the usual content you see out there, but that's what makes it interesting.
Informative channel. Very nice compilation of the basics and not-so-basics in C (mostly).
Some of the most informational, entertaining, and funny content for developers on the internet.
Electronics
- EEVBlog
Very knowledgeable YouTuber!
Dave Jones has an amazing series on the basics of electronics, repairs, and design.
Him and Chris Gammell from Contextual Electronics host a great podcast as well called The Amp Hour.
Weightlifting
- Greg Doucette
Best resource out there, period, when it comes to training and nutrition. Greg is very clear and upfront. He says what you need to hear in a way everyone understands.
Coach Greg also often talks about PEDs on his channel and is very open about his past use.
From training to life advice, I can confidently say Greg Doucette has some of the best informational content on the internet, period.
Calisthenics
- Chris Heria
One of the OGs in the sport. Has a video explaining how to do just about every calisthenics skill there is to know—at least probably more than you'll have time to learn.
